1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ControleWaste ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Services Offered

ControleWaste is an e-waste recycling platform that provides: doorstep pickup scheduling, e-waste assessment and pricing, a recycling materials marketplace, an eco-friendly product shop, and donation services. All services are subject to availability in your area.

3. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Not impersonate other users or create multiple accounts

4. E-Waste Pickup Policy

Pickups are scheduled based on availability. We reserve the right to refuse items that are hazardous or don't qualify as e-waste. Pricing is determined at the time of assessment and may vary based on condition and weight. Free pickup is available for orders above 5kg.

5. Payment & Refunds

Payments for services are processed securely. Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually as chosen. Refunds may be issued within 7 days for unused services. Marketplace transactions are between buyers and sellers; ControleWaste acts as a facilitator.

6. Data Destruction

We offer data destruction services for electronic devices. While we take every precaution, we recommend users back up and wipe their own data before handing over devices. ControleWaste is not liable for any data remnants on devices once the disposal process begins.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Submit fake pickup requests
  • Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Platform
  • Harass or abuse collectors, vendors, or other users

8. Limitation of Liability

ControleWaste is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
